What follows is a sampling of the many
questions we are asked in emails, phone calls, and visiting
customers. We will do our best to pass on the good ,
the bad , and the ugly, just the way it is, in the hope that
we all gain from the experience.

Question:
I heard that you will be doing Saiga Conversions, is this true and when? Answer : Yes,
We are doing them now and they are available.
Question:
Do your rifles come with a scope mounts? Answer:
All our rifles are available with a scope mounts as an option. I ran
across this comment in one of the forums "
No they dont come
with a rail. Aparently they cant figure out how to
install them yet!!!" I can assure you we have some idea what we are
doing. If you purchased one of our rifles and are willing to pay the
freight we will install one for you for a small fee.
Question:
Did you change the Russian Red and why? Answer : Yes,
We went with a deeper finish that is beautiful. We also went with
"pillow sanders" much more expensive but give a soft even finish to the
wood. We always look for ways to improve our guns. some changes are
obvious , like the wood, and others are not. If you really care about
your tack ,your never really satisfied with the result. Never!
Question:
When I shoot my rifle the cover pops off. What
now? Answer : The
back of the cover is pushed in too far or the cover is not long enough,
The cover should fit under the lip provided by the front sight block.
send us a picture or the cover and we will take care of it.
Question:
I was told my rifle would take a month and it took
almost two, Why? Answer : Could
be a number of reasons, we only use one type of receiver and they can
not always supply us when we need them. Everything else we do in house
so the culprit might be random Military orders that take precedence . We
also supply guns to security companies that always seem to need them
immediately.
Question:
I read in your site that your Saiga conversions
have a bullet guide, I don't have one in my Saiga and it works great! Answer : Yes
, we install the original bullet guide so standard AK magazines can be
used in the gun. If you check a Saiga magazine against a standard AK
mag, you will notice that the Saiga mag is higher at the bullet
discharge end. This is a kind of poor mans bullet guide. The standard
guide provides a better ramp and allows the use of standard magazines.
The SAIGA front trunion has to be milled and the original part
installed. More work, but worth the time.
Question:
Your web site is amateurish! Contact our office
and we can give you something to be proud of! Answer : I
suppose our web site is lacking in some respects, However, it was
started by a very good friend of mine, on his own time, and he has added
to it ever since. I think that's more then enough to be proud of.
We get emails and calls
praising our guns, please understand that I appreciate the praise but
I won't post them here. I want this section to inform by providing, raw
facts, straight talk, and real solutions. We learn by doing, and
avoiding criticism never fixed anything
If
you care to share your questions or comments, please email us at
lancasterc@qwestoffice.net . We will try and
post the most informative questions and comments , regardless of
what light it puts us in. We will post new entries every week or so
depending on time and pertinent material.
Thanks
